About the Role
Our client is seeking a self-starting and proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO and the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will manage various administrative business and personal tasks efficiently, contributing to the seamless operation of the business.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting C-Suite/Senior level in a respectable tech company where they have handled complex business travels and organisation of busy diaries. This candidate will also be a high-level thinker, and able to provide true right-hand support ensuring the CEO is on track and focussing on the work they should be doing. Through daily check-ins, the candidate will be able to take responsibility for freeing up the CEO from tasks which need to be done but can be delegated. As with any scale-up business, the daily pressures can be intense so this requires a candidate to be able to handle the stress and ensure actions are followed up on, while remaining calm under pressure.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Proactive and thoughtful management of the CEO's agenda and diary, ensuring all appointments and meetings are scheduled efficiently
Organising and managing travel plans, accommodation and logistics for business and personal trips
Managing inbox and correspondence, flagging and escalating important emails in a timely manner
Financial administration including managing invoices, payments and supporting payroll
Coordinating weekly team lunches and company events
Attend to personal administrative tasks such as payment of bills and invoices
Undertake projects such as property research
Provide additional support to the Operations Team including HR and compliance support
Ensuring the office is fully stocked with supplies
Providing regular updates to the team and maintaining consistent communication
Ad hoc administrative tasks for the CEO and wider business
Requirements:
Experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role supporting at senior level, ideally in a business and personal capacity
Experience in complex diary management
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
Proficient in handling financial tasks accurately and efficiently and comfortable using payroll software
Discrete and able to deal with confidential information
Tech savvy and familiar with systems such as Slack, Zoom etc
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively.
Proactive, self-starter, comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
Be happy to get stuck in with tasks no matter how small
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and adaptable as needed
Down to earth, positive attitude
Location - near Old St
Hybrid, 2 days required in the office + additional days as and when required
Salary circa £45k-£50k
